Welcome!

This blog is designed to use for connecting with others to discuss books/bible studies.  Many people can't attend a bible study regularly due to work schedules or other challenges.  For me, I'm a single mom with a little boy that goes to bed at 6/6:30pm.  That keeps me from being able to attend an evening study and work keeps from being able to attend a daytime one.  I tried weekends, but between sports and birthday parties, it became inconsistent.  Sundays are reserved for church and family.  However, I still need to connect and still need to talk about things I find in the Word and things I feel God is speaking to me about.  I know I am not alone in that.  So, I designed this blog.
The first book that we are going to be discussing is A Confident Heart by Renee Swopes.  She is doing an online book study of this book beginning January 16th.  (see reneeswopes.com for more details)  Although I am doing that study, I feel very called to do something that is a little more intimate with it...not that 10,000 people around the world can't be intimate, but I'm more of a homebody.  :)  I hope that you will enjoy it and that together we can do life in Christ and learn to live life confidently in the one who has confidence in us!
